Singapore Changi Airport Review
The Singapore Changi Airport is one of the best airports that I have ever been too. There is soooo much to see and do during a layover. When we first arrived at the airport, we immediately headed to the 24 hour bag drop. We didn’t want to have to worry about lugging extra bags with us during our layover. Prices are based off of the size of the luggage or item.
The airport has several gardens in each terminal. Each are free to enter at anytime of the day or night.
Don’t feel like using all your battery watching Netflix? The airport has a free movie theater that shows different movies for your enjoyment.
The airport has several lounges ($15 SGD) that have showers, nap rooms, coffee, comfy chairs and more for you to freshen up and relax before your next flight.
Want to take a nap and shower in the comfort of a hotel room, but not the price? The airport has a hotel in the terminal that you can buy a room for a cheap price to have some privacy and space.
Traveling with kids? Head over to one of the many indoor playgrounds for them to burn off some energy.
If you want to go see the city of Singapore, but only have a few hours to spare, there is a free shuttle that takes you view some of the many hot spots in the city.
My favorite thing about the Changi Airport is the Jewel indoor waterfall. It is the worlds largest indoor water fall and is BEAUTIFUL!!!
The Changi Airport is huge and takes hours to see every inch of it. They are still adding and building several exhibits for travelers enjoyment and I can’t wait to see what’s new there the next time I have a layover.
