Traveling doesn't ALWAYS have to be expensive if you plan accordingly. Here are some of my favorite travel websites for booking.
1. Google Flights
Google Flights is one of my faves because once you type in your destination, you can look at the calendar view and see when the cheapest day to depart and return are. Majority of the time the flights are cheaper during the middle of the week, but that is normal.
2. Another one of my favorite websites to book travel is Skyscanner. Skyscanner gives you the best bargains on not only flights, but rental cars and hotels as well. I have it downloaded as an app on my phone, but it is also accessible online. Skyscanner gives you the opportunity to explore the cheapest flights not only days out, but weeks, months and a year. If you’re not quite ready to book then and there, then sign up for email notifications for when your flight is the cheapest. You can input multiple destinations and flights and all notifications are sent in one email. So, you know you want to go somewhere, but not sure where? In the destination box, you can input “EVERYWHERE” and Skyscanner will show you the cheapest flights to anywhere! I will note that sometimes booking directly with the airline can be cheaper then Skyscanner by a few dollars, but Skyscanner gives you the ability to find those cheap flights.
